Case Studies

Stalking 1

CSS was briefed to provide security advice for a high profile American music celebrity. The celebrity had three Stalkers within the UK and was going to perform live events within London.

CSS conducted a detailed threat assessment and liaised with three different UK Police forces. A detailed security plan was designed and implemented. Surveillance was undertaken to gather intelligence and evidence on the three stalkers harassing the celebrity.

Finally, a close protection officer was deployed to provide close quarter protection to the celebrity whilst travelling to and performing at her concerts.

One of the Stalkers (a UK female citizen) came to the live performance being held in London. The Stalker was identified and place under covert surveillance and attempts to get closer to the celebrity were diverted or blocked by the surveillance and close protection operatives who were in constant radio communication.

Stalking 2

CSS
was approached by a current client to provide support to one of their employees.

The work performance of a female member of staff had drastically deteriorated and in a performance review it was established that the member of staff was suffering sustained harassment from a neighbour.

CSS developed a plan of action and implemented several measures. Firstly the female member of staff was interviewed and briefed on keeping a log of any harassment which took place. Two covert cameras were placed in the female’s home address covering areas where previous incidents had occurred and when required a security officer in a high profile security vehicle was placed outside the victims house to provide reassurance. Additionally, CSS liaised at length with local Police and the local council.

Evidence gathered by CSS resulted in an initial injunction being taken out against the perpetrator.

Breach of this injunction turned the harassment into a criminal act and continued evidence gathering by CSS led to the perpetrator being arrested and charged with harassment. CCTV footage from CSS was used in court to secure a conviction against the perpetrator.
